This session details on Current mirrors and Biasing circuits, which are one of the most widely used circuits in Analog Layout design. Emphasizing on the Layout design aspects gradually explaining complex test cases down the session. There are certain rules and guidelines to be followed before you do the layouts. Certain pre-requisites compulsorily need to be followed while doing Analog Layouts and would help you do the layouts better. We start with a simple current mirror, then slowly increase its complexity. What techniques the Layout engineer needs to follow while dealing with all kinds of current mirrors. Different kinds of test cases are discussed taking real-time examples. trying to give the learners the feel of Layout techniques we implement during the real time projects .Some precautions one needs to take to avoid the re-work. Lots of Deep sub-micron effects, its mitigation methods are discussed in this session. Some tips and tricks which would help the aspiring Engineers to improve their layout skills. and do their job in an organized way to become an Efficient layout engineer.
